So here it is!! I am a Mom of 4, three girls and one boy!! I have been thinking for a long time about starting a blog about what the TRUE joys of being a Mom are, and then it happened. I was taking advantage of a few quiet minutes while my 3 year old son was napping and I decided to go to the bathroom by MYSELF (not something that happens very often) and all of a sudden I hear him start to whimper and he strolls into the bathroom where I am still sitting, I asked him if he had to go to the bathroom and he said no but proceeded to pull down his pants and pee into the toilet. Unfortunately I was still on the toilet and so he was actually peeing all over me! I had just painted my bathroom the night before and I had about 5 minutes before his sisters got off of the bus so I had to take a quick bath with my son before the rest of the kids came home! As I laughed about the whole situation I thought, this is it I have to start that Blog!!! So here it is my blog about all the not so nice happenings that make being a Mom such an amazing experience!!! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy sharing all of my stories!

The Tooth Fairy

My 7 year old had lost her third tooth! She misplaced the tooth and so she wrote a note to the tooth fairy explaining what had happened. Well, that tooth fairy forgot to stop that night. At first she was a little upset but I explained that sometimes the tooth fairy just can't make it every where in one night. The following morning she wakes up and checks under her pillow and guess what....still nothing from that darn tooth fairy. Now she was just getting mad and so I explained that maybe the tooth fairy just forgot and that she should leave that note under her pillow for one more night!! The third morning she woke up, came down the stairs with the note in hand, tosses it on the table in front of me, and walks away rolling her eyes.......I had no explanation this time. I just couldn't believe that I had forgotten three nights in a row! So while my 7 year old was at school, my oldest daughter came home and reminded me that the tooth fairy still needed to leave something under her sisters pillow so she wrote the note for me. She kindly explained that the tooth fairy had been sick for three whole days but she was feeling better now so she was able to leave her some money!! How smart my 10 year old is!!!! So everyone was happy with the explanation from the tooth fairy and she was forgiven for taking so long. Well.....my 6 year old lost her tooth and placed it under her pillow last night and that darn tooth fairy forgot AGAIN!!!! Can you even believe that!! But the best part is my 7 year old says to her younger sister, "It's OK, but I hope that she isn't sick again!"
