My 6 year old had a beautiful black kitty she had received for her 5th birthday! Her kitty's name was Jude and she loved her so much. Well, last week Jude chased a squirrel into the road and ran in front of a car and was hit. I had a really hard time deciding how to explain to my daughter what had happened to Jude kitty but when the time came I told her exactly what happened. She was devestated and heart broken. After less than 10 minutes my 6 year old was calling her Aunt and left her a message that Jude Kitty had died but it was all OK because now Jude is with Grandma Donna and Grandpa, and Grammy's dog Scooter. That is when I realized that it was all OK and that she was already at peace with it. What a sweet little girl she is~I had a part in that :)
