So here it is!! I am a Mom of 4, three girls and one boy!! I have been thinking for a long time about starting a blog about what the TRUE joys of being a Mom are, and then it happened. I was taking advantage of a few quiet minutes while my 3 year old son was napping and I decided to go to the bathroom by MYSELF (not something that happens very often) and all of a sudden I hear him start to whimper and he strolls into the bathroom where I am still sitting, I asked him if he had to go to the bathroom and he said no but proceeded to pull down his pants and pee into the toilet. Unfortunately I was still on the toilet and so he was actually peeing all over me! I had just painted my bathroom the night before and I had about 5 minutes before his sisters got off of the bus so I had to take a quick bath with my son before the rest of the kids came home! As I laughed about the whole situation I thought, this is it I have to start that Blog!!! So here it is my blog about all the not so nice happenings that make being a Mom such an amazing experience!!! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy sharing all of my stories!

Mary, came home from school yesterday complaining that her ear hurt from her earring. Well, I knew that she had some very cheap earrings in so I told her to take them off. She of course, did what i told her (hahaha) and comes to me and says, "Mom I can't get this one out because its stuck and the back is already off." I thought it was probably stuck on there with the usual gook (you all know what i mean) So, assuming that she had already taken the back off, I pulled the earring out of her ear (it was pretty stuck, but I got it) Then I noticed there is a lot of white "gook in her ear, both the back and the front so I kinda gave it a little squeeze and Mary started really crying. I checked the ear again and noticed that the reason it was so hard and hurt so bad was because the back of the earring was stuck IN the earring hole IN her ear! YIKES!!!! I told her to hang on because it was going to hurt and I pushed the earring back out of the ear. She cried and cried and cried but I got that sucker out of her ear and there is no infection and not even a scab. What a relief that it all worked out. Then later in the day Mary syas to me, "I am never going to wear earrings again!" I honestly can't blame her if she doesn't!
